1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and Rapid Internet concerning your access to and use of our hardware products (routers), software dashboard, captive portals, and related services. By accessing our services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Service.
2. Hardware and Software Licensing
When you purchase a Rapid Internet router, you own the physical hardware. The firmware and cloud management software are licensed to you, not sold. We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the software in connection with the operation of the hardware.
You agree not to modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the firmware or cloud software provided by Rapid Internet, except where expressly permitted by open-source licenses or written agreement (e.g., White Label Enterprise agreements).
3. Network Operations and Compliance
When operating a Rapid Internet router as a public or private ISP hotspot, you are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with local telecommunications and internet service provider regulations.
- The legality of the upstream internet connection you are distributing (e.g., Starlink, Fiber, 4G). You must ensure your upstream provider permits reselling or sharing of bandwidth.
- Monitoring and managing the conduct of users connected to your network.
4. Payment Processing
Rapid Internet facilitates integration with third-party payment gateways (such as Airtel Money and TNM Mpamba). We are not responsible for transaction failures, chargebacks, or funds held by these third-party providers. It is your responsibility to maintain your merchant accounts with these providers in good standing.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your use of the services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
